2020 is the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife - and we are delighted to join in the celebrations.To be a nurse, a midwife or member of care staff is an extraordinary role. What they do every day has deep importance. They touch people's lives, whether that’s to enable people to stay healthy and support their independence, help them to recover from illness or providing care and comfort those are coming to the end of their lives.2020 is a time to reflect on these skills, the commitment and expert care they bring, and the impact they make on the lives of so many.
