For more than 140 years now, the name Wuppermann has stood for quality made of steel. Since its foundation in 1872, the family-owned company has steadily advanced to become what it is today: an innovative product developer and an expert in processing and finishing. The Wuppermann range extends from hot dipped galvanized flat products, tubes, and sheet metal parts to integrated components and complex assemblies made of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. The Wuppermann Group in its present structure was formed in 1985 from the companies remaining in the family's possession following the sale of the rolling mill in Leverkusen, Germany. The group's business operations are divided into three business units: Flat & Tube Products, System Solutions and Service & Consulting. The group has 9 production sites with a total workforce of 1,300 employees. Wuppermann AG opened its first U.S. sales office in Chicago, Illinois in 2016. The Wuppermann Group owns & operates three hot dipped galvanizing lines throughout Europe in the countries of Austria, Netherlands & Hungary. The facilities are equipped to pickle, galvanize, temper-roll, edge dress & slit to customer-specific requirements. Wuppermann's strict quality standards ensure that customers will receive a coated product made of high-quality steel strip on each & every order.
