The Women's Film Festival is a fundraiser for the Women's Freedom Center (formerly known as the Womens Crisis Center) in Brattleboro, VT. It was founded to celebrate the life of Judith Hart Fournier, who was brutally attacked by her estranged lover in 1990. The Festival has been raising awareness of domestic violence for the past 20 years through the showing of films that tell the stories of women and girls around the world.
