Winterbotham Darby (Clitheroe)

Established in 2004, the site at Clitheroe is home to the Winterbotham Darby centres of excellence for olives & antipasti and pickles & ferments. We are a multi-functional site predominantly providing assembly of olives and antipasti including desalination, marinating and assembly, dips production and slicing of continental charcuterie. We also have a fermentary to create our cold brined pickles and fermentsOur final customers are primarily the major supermarkets in the UK and most of our finished products are supplied for own-label. We also manufacture olives and antipasti for our flagship brand, unearthed® and pickles for ferments for VadaszWe are accredited with an A++ BRC rating and have held British Safety Council International Safety Awards since 2017, going on to be awarded a 'merit' on 2020. in April 2020 we were awarded a Silver RoSPA health & safety award.
