A lot of companies will tell you they “think outside the box.” But that’s not us – we never actually fit in the box to begin with. Founder Winston Shelton left GE in the late 60s because of his entrepreneurial spirit and a driving need to create something. Colonel Sanders came to him looking for a better way to fry chicken than the stove-top method they were employing, and Winston designed him a pressure fryer unlike anything else. Later, Winston invented a whole new class of hot food holding equipment that others still try to copy. We’ve always enjoyed the position of being just a little different in our approach. Some have even called us a cult. We don’t mind. In fact, we’re sort of proud of it.
