Wild Wing Cafe was born at the beach by a couple who knew how to throw a good party. In 1990, Cecil and Dianne Crowley founded the first Wild Wing Cafe in Hilton Head, South Carolina with the idea that people love coming together for Hot Wings, Cold Beer, and Good Times.
That single restaurant served wings with seven made-from scratch sauce recipes. It’s a tradition we continue today at our Charlotte, North Carolina Support Center and our over 40 locally-owned and operated locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Florida, Alabama, and Texas.
As a result, Wild Wing Cafe has won “Best Wings” in multiple markets. And in 2021, our Fiery Peach sauce took home First Place in the Creative Sweet category at the National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York.
That commitment has extended from our kitchen to our stages. Each location has a dedicated stage for live music and since the beginning, we have remained committed to local music talent. Over the years, up and coming artists like Darius Rucker, Zac Brown Band, Andy Grammer, Edwin McCain, Old Dominion, and Luke Combs performed on one of our stages on their path to stardom. Currently, approximately 2200 live acts perform on our stages annually.
We are set up for an exciting future as we look to grow to 100 combined corporate and franchise locations by 2028.
