WICB is a student-operated, 4,100 watt FM radio station located at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. The station serves Tompkins County and beyond, reaching from northern Pennsylvania to Lake Ontario, with a potential audience of over 250,000. WICB programming transcends many formats from rock to jazz to urban. The primary format of the station is modern rock. The radio station is in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In 2005, readers of the Ithaca Times voted 92 WICB "Best Radio Station." The 2008 Princeton Review ranks WICB as the #5 most popular radio station out of 368 college stations. In 2008, WICB won the mtvU Woodie Award for Best College Radio Station. WICB was ranked #1 out of 364 college radio stations by the Princeton Review in 2010, 2014 and 2017.
