Whirlwind has been refining full service maintenance program for twenty years, deciding early on to concentrate on the exterior building services that Whirlwind's clients require on a regular basis. Initially, Whirlwind's services included land­scape maintenance, parking lot sweeping, day porter, a winter storm program, and seasonal work such as bark installation, asphalt and curb repair, pesticide application, parking lot strip­ing and marking, irrigation repair, and flower display design and installation. Over the years Whirlwind has expanded into bird con­trol, skate board deterrent installations and a new department called Environmental Services, which includes bio-swale and storm drain maintenance, as well as vactor services.
