Westgate Resorts also operates the Westgate Resorts Foundation, which was started in 2001 and has since grown to provide assistance to more than 250 charities and causes in communities where Westgate Resorts team members live and work. The mission of the Westgate Resorts Foundation is to actively support charitable activities in areas where Westgate owns and operates resorts. Emphasis is placed on our team members, children, women, families, seniors, veterans and other local programs that improve the quality of life in our resort communities. This support is given through a variety of sources including financial contributions in the form of grants and sponsorships; in-kind gifts such as furniture and vacation certificates; and thousands of volunteer hours given by team members annually for various charitable causes.
