Wentworth Senior Living is a nonprofit senior living community that extends connections, choice, support, and respect to our residents. Our unique model is based in the idea that home—and the comfort, independence, and relationships associated with it—is central to our lives at any age. Home is more than just your house; it’s your sense of community. When our residents and their families choose Wentworth Senior Living, we honor their trust by providing a continuing path, with fewer burdens and greater opportunities, to a vibrant life. Although we can provide the comprehensive healthcare services available in a nursing home, we’re anything but. Our living spaces are quiet and comfortable. Medical support is offered, as needed, in a private, respectful manner within residents’ own apartments. Common areas remain communal, cozy, and home-like, devoid of distracting and noisy nurses’ stations. Our highly trained professional staff values the time they take to engage and build relationships with residents they genuinely respect and love. Residents’ interests and choices determine daily activities that are never regimented or required. Meal times are flexible. Transportation can often be scheduled at-will. Personal freedoms are embraced and encouraged. We are a hybrid provider of senior services, only one component of which is residential. Both within and beyond our physical walls, we advocate for seniors while honoring their individual strengths and capacities. As a nonprofit, our philanthropy and programming help all seniors in the community live healthy, connected lives.
