Welsh Mountain Health Centers

Welsh Mountain Health Centers provides quality, family-centered health services to all members of the community, especially those who encounter barriers to care. Welsh Mountain was founded in 1972, and serves rural Lancaster, Berks, and Chester counties from its main office on Springville Road and at Meadow Creek Family Practice, and Lebanon County from its Lebanon Ridge Community Health office on Norman Drive. These are Medical and Dental Health Professional Shortage Areas and a Medically Underserved Areas where 32% of people qualify for Medical Assistance based on federal poverty guidelines. In FY2012, Welsh Mountain provided $5,276,243 in medical and dental services to over 9,600 patients. Of that, $2,201,551 – up $516,072 from the previous year – was in uncompensated care.
