Vitro is the leading glass manufacturer in Mexico and one of the world’s major glass companies, backed by more than 100 years of experience in the industry. Founded in 1909 in Monterrey, Mexico, the company has subsidiaries in the Americas, which offer quality products and reliable services to meet the needs of two different types of business: glass containers and flat glass. During the 1980’s Vitro noticed an increasing glass container market in the United States. In response, Vitro founded a subsidiary company, Vitro Packaging, LLC. Since then it has provided a full range of value-added glass packaging products to the North American wine, spirits, beverage, beer, pharmaceutical and chemical, food, and cosmetics industries. Our primary goal was then and continues to be to provide our clients with the highest levels of service and quality while meeting their complete glass packaging needs. Today, we do this through VitroSolutions®, a value-added systematic approach to providing our clients with complete package solutions; including market analysis assistance, comprehensive design service, decoration development, and reliable, consistent processes.
