Vest is an app-based brokerage built to give Latin American savers exposure to American assets, differentiated based on product, pricing and content (in-app educational content). Latin Americans save, but tend to do so in cash or zero-interest savings accounts. Existing investment platform options underwhelm. Many never come close to building a base of investments. Savers miss out on the benefits of compound interest and asset appreciation, and are heavily exposed to local currency risk.
