What questions do you have about digitalization? And how has your life changed with the digital transformation? Digitalization poses new challenges for society and science. It is capturing large parts of our lives every day. The Digital Society Initiative (DSI) was founded in 2016 at the University of Zurich. The DSI supports scientists in their research and teaching on digital change and is the Competence Center of the University of Zurich, where the effects of digitalization are researched and bundled across all disciplines. The Digital Society Initiative also aims to engage in dialogue with the general public. The DSI of the University of Zurich would like to critically reflect on digital change and look at it from different perspectives. It is not about technological innovations, but rather about ethical, legal, social and economic aspects that need to be discussed. It is about people and their role in our digitalized world.Interested in Events organized by the Digital Society Initiative? For all those interested we offer various events at the University of Zurich such as our event series UZH Digital Forum or the lunchtime events DSI Brown Bag Lunches. Every year in the autumn semester, we organize a series of lectures on a selected topic. All current events can be found on our website www.dsi.uzh.ch under activities and on Linkedin.
