Information
The US SubVets WWII is a national organization of the men who served on submarines from 1941-1946. There were over 15,000 who did so and over 3500 were lost together with 52 submarines. Of the couple of thousand left, the average age is above the mid eighties, and they are gradually leaving to join their shipmates on "eternal patrol". The purpose of the organization is to memorialize those lost in submarines serving their country during World War II.
