With the massive growth of the current US-China economic engagement, the demand for quality legal service between the US and China is greatly increasing. To meet such a big challenge, the legal professionals of the two countries need to overcome the barrier of the different legal systems, cultures and languages, They are eager to win more opportunities for understanding different legal system, develop cooperation relationship. Because of these conditions, a non-profit foundation, The US-China Legal Exchange Foundation (UCLEF) was founded in New Jersey, USA. on August 8,2008. As a non-profit educational, professional organization, we are playing an important role in promoting legal exchange and cooperation between the U.S. and China by providing education, networking opportunities, business development and other related services and resources. UCLEF provides the link between legal education and practice, promotes best practices, facilitates discussions at meetings and conferences, and provides a forum for its members through course offerings and other related activities, thus advancing their knowledge and careers. Our mission is to promote communication and cooperation between the U.S. and China legal communities, in order to pursue justice and fairness. We are dedicated to mobilizing all available resources to assist in development of legal systems in both the U.S. and China.
