Uptown Alley

We started out as Academy Lanes, established as a bowling alley in 1960, and became a Winnipeg landmark for entertainment. Over the years, Academy Lanes became a brand that everyone around Winnipeg could trust to provide the best entertainment for their families, friends and employees. In December 2018, we expanded and re-opened in a new location at 1301 St Matthews Ave as Uptown Alley. With 30 lanes of 5 pin bowling, a laser tag arena, a huge arcade and a Bistro with seating for over 100 people we have expanded our entertainment offerings to include facilities to keep you entertained for hours!We host all types of parties and event - From very successful fundraisers to Corporate and staff events that will be talked about for years - we know how to make your event a success!Our children's birthday parties are among the top options in the city, and the value is truly awesome.
