University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC)

The University Studies Abroad Consortium® has provided university students with quality study abroad programs for over 30 years. USAC is a non-profit, university-based organization made of 33 US member universities joined together to provide excellent academic opportunities in authentic cultural contexts via affordable study abroad programs with a wide variety of coursework and session lengths from which to choose. For over three decades we have contributed to the internationalization of universities in the US and abroad and currently offer programs in 25 countries. Our mission is to provide students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to succeed in the global society of the twenty-first century. We strive to provide an authentic context in which students may grow into engaged citizens of the world, not only in the classroom but also through field trips, integrated living and academic experiences, sports, internships, and volunteer and service-learning opportunities. Students, undergraduate and graduate, from any university may attend; students from over 800 universities worldwide have participated on USAC programs.
