100th Year in 2018! Established since 1918, the University of Eastern Philippines (UEP) is the "First State University in the Visayas" - central of the three main regions of the Philippines. UEP produces top placers for various national professional licensure examinations and is a recipient of national awards and recognition for its faculty and students. UEP is the most comprehensive and the biggest state university in the entire Eastern Visayas region, with three campuses (UEP Main - Catarman, UEP Lao-ang and UEP Catubig).
