Università Telematica "Guglielmo Marconi"

Università degli Studi “Guglielmo Marconi”, approved by the Ministerial Decree of 1 March 2004, is the first Italian Open University. It is registered in the “Anagrafe Nazionale delle Ricerche” of the Ministry of Education, University and Research and collaborate to its activities trough the university research centres and laboratories. The University, whose headquarters are in Rome, comprises and coordinates a network of different branches placed in other districts, technologically equipped to run all the educational activities. The different branches has been created to allow students to attend classes all over the national territory. The University offer includes degree courses (1st and 2nd level degrees according to European educational legislation) and postgraduate and specialization studies to serve the critical lifelong knowledge and skill development of individuals, organizations and the community. According to its Charter general principles, the University promotes the international development of didactics, research and studies, considering the development of the cultural exchanges among the different countries as its main priority.For these reasons, the International Projects area constitutes one of the main resources to favour collaboration; in our site this area has been divided into national, European and international, according to the nature of the projects.
