About Unified Vailsburg Services Organization (UVSO)

Unified Vailsburg Services Organization has been serving the Vailsburg community since 1972. We are a human services organization that is committed to serving Vailsburg residents of all ages. The agency’s mission is to create a stable and compassionate community. To achieve this mission, we provide a comprehensive program of services for children, teens, families, and senior citizens as well as encourage neighborhood improvement through community outreach and housing development.

In 2014, UVSO provides daily services to an average of 1,000 local people of all ages in the following ways:

* 2 full-day preschools
* an infant & toddler center
* high quality after school programs at area elementary schools
* Youth Leadership Corp program for teens and junior teens
* senior center
* home friend and visiting nurse services for seniors
* housing development
*community outreach that works with an active network of block associations
