Under Canvas® is an elevated outdoor hospitality and events company, offering safari-style accommodations just minutes from some of America’s most popular national parks and monuments. Created as an immersive outdoor escape, Under Canvas experiences serve as a unique bridge between travel and nature while offering all the comforts of home. Under Canvas operates locations in Yellowstone and Glacier in Montana; Moab, Zion and Lake Powell - Grand Staircase in Utah; Mount Rushmore in South Dakota; Great Smoky Mountain in Tennessee; Grand Canyon in Arizona and Acadia in Maine.Under Canvas® began when Sarah’s love affair with the African safari experience married Jacob’s talent for design. Together they decided to create a glamping company that would serve as a bridge to the outdoors in a very unique way.The Under Canvas® brand was founded in 2009 with the opening of Sage Safaris, an all-inclusive Montana safari experience. Under Canvas® luxury camping experiences were established when we opened our first glamping resort just outside of Yellowstone National Park in 2012. Now the industry leader, the Company plans to open an additional 10 camps by 2021.
