The Industrial Service business unit is the largest in the TÜV NORD GROUP. It covers testing, certification and further safety and quality-related inspections in the four segments of industry, energy, infrastructure, and people and the environment (Resources4Life). The areas of work include services such as the testing of industrial installations, power stations and lifts, the certification of wind turbines, railway technology and food, along with emission measurements or occupational safety audits. As digitalization progresses, functional safety also becomes more and more important across all sectors.
