Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica S.A. (“TAESA”), a publicly listed company, is one of the largest private electricity transmission groups in Brazil , exclusively dedicated to the construction, operation and maintenance of transmission lines. Currently, the Company holds 27 concessions with annual contractual Revenues of approximately R$ 2 billion. Its 417 employees manage and operate 9408 km of transmission lines, 62 substations ranging from 230 to 500 Kv with a foothold in all the regions of the country.
The company is jointly controlled by CEMIG - a large Brazilian integrated utilities company - and FIP Coliseu - a private equity fund composed mostly of institutional investors. As of now, 27% of the Company’s capital is traded on the Brazilian Stock Exchange (ticker: TAEE11).
