Start-up created by students within the North Carolina State University and Skema Business School of Paris’ Global Luxury And Management dual degree program. The Protected Kollective is dedicated to bringing styling, brand protection education, brand strategy and business development education to budding minority entrepreneurs within creative industries. The Protected Kollective wants to give young black and brown minds the tools they need to curate plans to propel their brand in the most beneficial direction. We hope to give entrepreneurs who come from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in the field of luxury industries the educational foundations they need in order to protect, develop & curate a culturally sustainable entity✨ Every member on our team has certified graduate level training in business analytics, creative brand marketing, brand management, and project management. Each of us, as grad students, have international experience within the luxury industry due to consulting with NYC startups and studying abroad in Paris, France. We were all invited to work with several brands such as Dior, Jo Malone, and Mercedes Castillo as project management contributors throughout our graduate studies. We branched out on our own to create our own start up and hope to bring the knowledge and skill set we gained to budding entrepreneurs within the creative world, especially minorities within the fashion industry.
