Thwaites Inns of Character is a collection of eights inns with rooms that offer substantial dining areas and a busy bar. Each of the inns offers the highest quality locally sourced food, a wide range of cask ales and fine wines and exceptional hospitality. Our inns are full of character and unique in their own right, but they have all been chosen because of their location within the heart of local communities or idyllic setting amongst spectacular countryside. Our inns never stand on ceremony; they are about good simple home cooked food which has been created using seasonal and local produce. Our ales are of course the finest Thwaites real ales, making our inns a mecca for ale enthusiasts, and our bedrooms are individually decorated to make the most of the building they stand in. We spent a considerable amount of time working on the exterior of the Grade 1 listed Georgian building this past year and will commence a complete refurbishment of the interior at the beginning of 2014. Following the refurbishment the Judges Lodgings will become our 8th Inn of Character early summer 2014.
