About The Rugby Football League

We are the Rugby Football League – the national governing body for Rugby League in Great Britain and Ireland.
We are committed to developing and growing Rugby League at all levels.
We administer the England Rugby League team, the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup, Betfred Super League and the Kingstone Press Rugby League Championship and League 1 and also support and administer the grassroots game.
Our focus on excellence in coaching and development is helping more players start, stay and succeed in the nation’s most exciting summer sport.
We work in partnership with clubs and Rugby League Foundations to offer new ways to play, from Play Touch Rugby League to Wheelchair RL. Together we are working hard to inspire the next generation of young players and fans through Sky Try – the largest ever programme of Rugby League opportunities in schools.
