Our history:Martin & Co was founded by Richard Martin in 1986 and opened its first franchise in 1995. After 30 years, our vision for our letting and estate agency business remains undimmed. We envision the brand to be synonymous with excellence and professionalism in the property sector and for our network to reach the high street of every town and city in the UK.In December 2013, Martin & Co (UK) Ltd listed on the stock exchange and became a PLC, raising £4 million in share capital. These funds put The Property Franchise Group into a superb position to drive a growth strategy to solidify its future in the marketplace.Having acquired several franchise brands from Legal and General; CJ Hole, Ellis and Co, Parkers and Whitegates, The Property Franchise Group increased its network to nearly 300 franchise offices across the five franchise brands. Most recently, in September 2016, The Property Franchise Group acquired EweMove bringing the total of franchised offices to almost 400. The head office support functions have grown considerably over the years to include IT & Business Systems, Operations, Digital, Marketing, PR, Compliance & Legal, Audit, Recruitment, Business Acquisitions, Franchise, Finance and Training. In fact, the services and support available is unrecognisable to even 10 years ago.
