Paperback Shop is the brainchild of Dan Cherrington, erstwhile farmer, TV presenter, author and seller of many things.In 1998 he and his partner, Anne Brown, were struggling to keep their chain of bookshops afloat, in the face of well known challenges, when exploratory selling online in the US proved to be a turning point and resulted in an invitation to become the first UK based marketplace seller on Amazon.com. In February 2000 The Paperback Shop.co.uk was born and continues to maintain its position as one of the most successful online booksellers in the World.Dan’s vision has always been to provide customers with a huge choice of titles, value for money and excellent service and these ideals remain the Paperback Shop’s raison d’être.
