LEF is certified as a Private Career College (PCC) with the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. Through this we offer training courses that boost career potential for unemployed individuals, and incumbent workers.
LEF conducts demand led business engagement. We assist employers in identifying their workforce development needs, and in capacity building.
We develop strategic partnerships, raise awareness of the Canada Ontario Job Grant (COJG), assist employers in the completion of COJG Employer/Consortium Applications, and provide no cost recruitment services.
With business led training programs and education, all LEF programs are grounded in the needs of the employers, and based on providing skills that leads to employment. LEF continually works with employers and adapts the curriculum to meet the demands of the industry.
We work closely with the community, leveraging more than 300 community organization partnerships and over 400 established employer relationships. LEF currently employs over 400 staff and serves more than 10,000 people each year.
