The Health Awareness Project “HAP” is owned and operated by AmeriHealth Laboratory. AmeriHealth is a CLIA and COLA accredited, state-of-the-art laboratory located in Dallas, Texas. AmeriHealth currently performs a variety of molecular tests, ranging from CGx “Cancer Genomics”, PGx “Pharmacogenomics”, RPP “Respiratory Pathogen Panel, UTI “Urinary Tract Infections” & Toxicology.HAP relates specifically to the commercialization of AmeriHealth’s non-invasive CGx & PGx tests. AmeriHealth’s CGx test is a multi-target gene test that utilizes a combination of technologies to detect changes in the DNA of cancer cells. Knowing whether cancer has a particular mutation can help determine the type of treatment that a person receives. The presence or absence of certain mutations can predict who may benefit from certain drugs and who is not likely to respond. HAP’s CGx tests screen genes for Breast, Ovarian, Colorectal, Prostate, and many more types of Cancer.
