The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Sheffield has long been a centre of Materials innovation. One of the founding departments of the University, we are a welcoming, innovative community of staff and students encased in a vast history of materials research. Part of the Faculty of Engineering, we are one of the largest centres for materials research in the UK.
