The Deluxe Group began trading as specialist interior finishes sub-contractor in 1969. The business was incorporated in 2002 by which time activities had been expanded to include the manufacture and installation of specialist joinery and themed works. Today operations still service customers throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, and beyond, from headquarters in Portadown.The demand for The Deluxe Group’s services has seen the workforce increase almost threefold to nearly 150 people over the last three years. In anticipation of this planned increase in activity, additional management and professional resources, new technology and a new state of the art bespoke manufacturing facility have all been put in place.Transferable skill-sets, wide ranging experience, a willingness to invest, and a culture that embraces change has helped the business survive the many challenges of operating in the wider construction sector over many years. Over the years the focus has moved from specialist finishes to a niche service for the Irish hospitality trade, offering a complete design and fit out service. When the demand for this service collapsed in the wake of the property crash in 2008, the emphasis switched to high end retail fit out with the core business always being tailored joinery.Today Deluxe’s premium services to a variety of sectors including Luxury Hospitality, Super Prime Residential, Education, Commercial Office, and Theme Parks. Typical customers have changed from owner managers to mainstream contractors of national and international significance, delivering premium products to a discerning and sophisticated client base. The Deluxe Group has a deserved reputation as a quality player in the demanding international theme park contractor sector.The modus operandi remains the same: manufacture and storage of the goods in the controlled environment of our state of the art Portadown facility, before transport and installation as soon as the site is ready.
