About The Deep
The Deep, one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world is located in Hull, East Yorkshire. This award-winning visitor attraction is home to spectacular sharks, rays, turtles and a colony of Gentoo penguins.
The dramatic building overlooks the Humber estuary and is only a few minutes’ walk from the Museums Quarter and Hull Marina. It offers a unique blend of stunning marine life, interactive and audio-visual presentations which together tell the dramatic story of the world’s oceans.
Daily highlights include dive presentations and animal feeding, discovery corner sessions where you can get up close with crabs, urchins and starfish, a walk through our underwater tunnel, completing your journey with a ride in our glass lift through our huge 10m Endless Oceans tank.
The Deep also offers a fantastic location for corporate events, weddings, naming ceremonies, birthday parties and private functions. Whatever your event we have a dedicated events team on hand to make it a real success. The Deep is also home to the Two Rivers Restaurant - open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm. Guests dine in the stunning Endless Oceans Gallery with sharks and rays as their backdrop and can enjoy a two or three course meal.
