The Caldecott Foundation

The Caldecott Foundation provides specialist care and education to some of the UK’s most vulnerable children and young people. The children who are referred to us have had the worst start in life. Having suffered much neglect throughout their lives, they have developed emotional and behavioural patterns which make them extremely difficult to care for. Dozens of placement breakdowns and expulsion from mainstream education are a common story for our children. They need a period of specialist care and stability in order to recover from the trauma of their early life and this is the vital support that Caldecott provides.
