Founded in 1986, Texas Oncology is a pioneer in high quality community-based cancer care. Texas Oncology is an independent oncology practice with more than 430 physicians and 175 locations across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. Texas Oncology’s community-based approach of integrated oncology care enables patients to receive leading-edge treatment while living at home near the critical support of family and friends. Texas Oncology patients also have the opportunity to participate in some of the most promising national clinical trials for a broad range of cancers. Texas Oncology is the primary participant in US Oncology Research, and has played a role in the development of nearly 70 FDA-approved cancer-fi­ghting drugs, about one-third cancer therapies approved by the FDA to date.
