TENERIFE LICITA

Tenerife Licita has been created to give a boost to the process of internationalisation of public and private companies on the island of Tenerife through taking part in international bidding competitions. This initiative of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife (Tenerife Island Authority) and of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Chamber of Commerce is intended to accelerate and support the development of international businesses by each of its members, which have over twenty-five years' experience on average, 1,850 employees, and a total turnover of twenty-two million Euros. Tenerife Licita offers its team of professionals and its personalised accompaniment at all stages of the process, as well as giving financial backing, accelerating and supporting the process of development of international business of each of its members. Our range of services includes everything from the search for personalised business opportunities to assistance in drawing up expressions of interest and commercial and institutional support. Furthermore, and as we are aware of the importance of inter-business collaboration in this process, a large part of our activities is focussed on the creation of alliances with strategic partners. We also sponsor approaches to interlocutors at financial institutions, multi-lateral organisations, multinationals, etc.The size of the market in international bidding for public contracts financed by multi-lateral organisations amounts to over 100,000 million euros a year, generating business opportunities for both large and small companies in a wide range of sectors. The Cabildo, together with the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Chamber of Commerce, which forms part of the network of Private Sector Liaison Officers (PSLO), put their resources at the disposal of island companies that wish to benefit from these opportunities and diversify their markets via this route.
