TEDxPSU

The TEDxPSU Mission TEDxPSU will be held October 10, 2010 at the Schwab Auditorium on the Penn State University Park campus. This day-long event will bring together innovative and thought-provoking individuals from all over the Penn State community and the world to listen and share fascinating ideas worth spreading. We will select speakers based on their expertise in a specific discipline and their ability to trigger conversation and inspire action. Using a blend of live talks and pre-recorded videos, TEDxPSU will bring together the University community and kick off a dialogue about the challenges and opportunities facing our society. Goals for TEDxPSU Host a forum for gifted speakers and presenters with the desire and motivation to broadcast their unique messages and perspectives Showcase the world-changing innovators and researchers at Penn State to help amplify the impact of their remarkable projects and activities Inspire audience members to challenge preconceived notions, explore emerging trends, and contribute to an ongoing dialogue about the future Support the spread of innovation, the advancement of ideas, and the stimulation of conversation among academics, students, professionals, and community members
