The Centre for Phenogenomics (TCP) is a $69M, state‐of‐the‐art facility that conducts and enables groundbreaking research and discovery, with the goal of advancing human health. TCP is the largest Centre in Canada dedicated to using mouse models of human health and disease, operated through an innovative scientific collaboration between two pre‐eminent research hospitals; Mount Sinai Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children. TCP Inc. has been created to meet the needs of industry clients who require a centralized, independent portal to the pre‐clinical in vivo services provided by TCP. The scope of pre‐clinical in vivo services provided includes: • Creation of custom designed genetically‐engineered mouse models (knockout and transgenic); • Provision of established genetically‐engineered mouse models, spontaneous mutants, or outbred or inbred mouse lines for in vivo studies; • Colony management (live colonies, re‐derivation, expansion, and cryopreservation and storage services); • Compound dosing & evaluation studies and xenotransplant cancer models; • Comprehensive phenotyping to test for novel gene function, mechanism, and drug target validation across multiple therapeutic areas or customized phenotyping for therapeutic area‐focused evaluation; • Phenotyping for therapeutic area‐relevant effect and off‐target effects.
