TAFE NSW, Western Sydney is a Registered Training Organisation which provides progressive and innovative vocational education and training to more than 94,000 students every year, servicing a geographic area that extends from Strathfield to the Blue Mountains and includes the growth area of North West Sydney. The Open Training and Education Network (OTEN) provides specialist distance and online education and training services and is located in Strathfield in Sydney’s inner west. We offer flexible training with delivery in the workplace, at our seven colleges, at various community locations and at the workplace and in the home through e-learning. Training is also supported by our specialist centres – the Building Industry Skills Centre (BISC), various specialist AcadeMYs including Hair & Beauty and ICT as well as, TAFE International Education and the Australian Workforce Development Solutions – consulting directly to Industry and businesses throughout Greater Western Sydney and beyond. Training is tailored to suit the needs of individuals and industry complemented by our strong links with business and industry representatives which allow us to ensure students are provided with relevant skills for employment.
