Sunrise Residential Treatment Center specializes in treating a variety of emotional and behavioral issues faced by teenage girls aged 13 to 17. These include anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, eating disorders, and behavioral problems. Our comprehensive approach ensures that each girl receives personalized care tailored to her unique needs.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a specialized form of cognitive-behavioral therapy designed to help individuals manage their emotions and improve interpersonal relationships. At Sunrise RTC, DBT is a core component of our treatment program, providing girls with skills to cope with distress, regulate emotions, and enhance their overall mental health. Our trained therapists guide residents through DBT techniques, helping them build resilience and healthier coping mechanisms.
A typical day at Sunrise Residential Treatment Center is structured and supportive, focusing on both therapeutic and recreational activities. Residents participate in individual and group therapy sessions, skill-building workshops, and educational classes. Additionally, there are opportunities for physical activities, art therapy, and mindfulness practices. This balanced schedule promotes emotional healing and personal growth while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Family involvement is a crucial aspect of the treatment process at Sunrise Residential Treatment Center. We believe that healing extends beyond the individual. Families are encouraged to participate in family therapy sessions, educational workshops, and regular communication with our clinical team. This collaborative approach helps families understand their loved one's challenges and equips them with tools to support her recovery effectively.
The staff at Sunrise Residential Treatment Center consists of highly qualified professionals, including licensed therapists, psychologists, and psychiatric staff, all with extensive experience in adolescent mental health. Our team is trained in various therapeutic modalities, including DBT, and is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care. Continuous professional development ensures that our staff stays updated on the latest therapeutic practices and research in the field.
Determining the right treatment center for your daughter involves considering her specific needs and the type of support she requires. At Sunrise RTC, we offer a free consultation to discuss your daughter's challenges and treatment goals. Our admissions team will guide you through the process, answer any questions you may have, and help you assess whether our programs align with your daughter's needs. We encourage families to visit our facility and meet our staff to make an informed decision.
