About Sun Air Express
Sun Air is a regional airline connecting smaller communities to major hub airports around the US. Recently under new ownership, the senior management team is transforming Sun Air's operations, customer care and sales/marketing focus for strategic and profitable growth in 2014 and beyond
In 2014, we changed our name to Sun Air Express, to reflect our new focus on flying regional/business/commuter routes in the northeastern US, as opposed to our Florida routes.
In the Summer of 2014, we established a focus city at Pittsburgh(PIT) as part of the PIT CONNECTOR project and were awarded new route authority between Pittsburgh(PIT)-Altoona, PA (AOO), PIT-Jamestown/Chautauqua, NY(JHW), PIT-Lancaster, PA(LNS) and PIT and Bradford and Franklin, PA.
These new routes compliment our existing service between Washington/Dulles(IAD)-Lancaster, PA(LNS) and Hagerstown, MD(HGR). Sun Air Express offers the ease of private flying, plus the frequency and cost of standard air travel. Flights are offered in Cessna Chieftain aircraft.
