STAr-Edge Technologies is the U.S division of STAr Technologies. STAr-Edge Technologies provides high-level sales and support for all STAr products, is the home of the instrumentation and ATE R&D group, ATE manufacturing, and probe card production.
STAr is the acronym for "Semiconductor Test Architects" and as in the name - we are the architects with leading technologies for semiconductor test solutions. STAr Technologies provides in intellectual properties, software, test equipment, services and consumables, our expertise extends cross parametric electrical test (E-test), wafer-level and package-level reliability (WLR & PLR), mixed signal automatic test equipment (ATE), assembly and packaging services, parametric/wafer sort probe cards, load boards and other consumables. Established in August 2000, STAr is based in Hsinchu, Taiwan with offices in U.S.A, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, China, and India. Our major customers span across Asian in areas such as silicon/GaAs foundries, IDMs, design houses, LED and devices/components manufacturers.
