In 1997, the STAEDTLER Foundation was officially recognised and certified as a public foundation under civil law which holds all shares of the STAEDTLER Group. The STAEDTLER foundation is dedicated to promote innovative ideas by scientific research at German polytechnics and universities. This simply means that part of the profits generated by STAEDTLER is given back to society through its funding and support in research and innovation. About STAEDTLER Malaysia STAEDTLER was introduced in Malaysia in 1964.
