About St. Luke Foundation for Haiti
We are a Haitian-run non-profit organization, providing education, medical care and dignified humanitarian outreach.
Our programs focus on providing medical care, education, humanitarian aid, and employment opportunities to the least served Haitian communities. Each program, run by highly skilled and trained Haitian leaders, has the ultimate goal of saving lives and providing opportunity. St Luke takes great pride in being an organization built on the foundation of 100 percent Haitian leadership. By following a shared vision for the future we walk hand in hand towards a more prosperous and independent Haiti.
Father Rick Frechette, an American priest and doctor, started the St. Luke mission in collaboration with an inspired group of young Haitian leaders, who, together, saw a different path forward for their country.
