Manufacturing of bar soap was established by Procter & Gamble at the Ivorydale facility in 1890, with the facility being divested in 2003 to an independent company that was able to consolidate the contract manufacturing of bar soap for a number of leading brand-owners into this high capacity, efficient facility.

St Bernard Soap Co. is North America's leading manufacturer of bar soap, with the capacity to manufacture more than 4 million standard sized bars of soap a day. Our products include: glycerin recovered premium tallow bars and all-in-glycerin alternative, synthetic and semi synthetic soap utilizing either tallow or vegetable soap bases, plus our unique freezer bar technology to produce pure, low cost soap for budget conscious consumers.

St Bernard Soap Co. expertise includes the formulation & development of new base soap, plus esthetic finishes utilizing the latest mixing and press technology. The site is FDA approved for the manufacturer of products containing active ingredients.

St Bernard Soap Co. manufactures many of the leading brands of soap sold in the USA & Canada, in addition to exporting base soap noodles Internationally for local finishing and packing. The company does not sell any finished products under its own name.
