SpEC | The Space Enterprise Consortium

SpEC attracts, retains, and mentors members to prepare them to compete for federally-funded space-related prototype projects. It minimizes barriers to entry for small, non-traditional businesses to work with the Government, and identifies research and prototyping teaming opportunities. SpEC also increases flexibility, reduces cost, improves technology and capability insertion, and decreases program development cycles. It enables the integrated employment of force enhancement, space control, command and control, and situational awareness capabilities. SpEC assists the Government in identifying challenges, prioritizing which challenges get solicited, and selecting the highest priority project submitted by SpEC members.
