About Spartan UK

Our business model focuses on high quality product, short delivery times and small minimum order quantities. The appeal of this package to customers has been such that we have enjoyed rapid growth, reaching record sales of 160,000t per annum.



We offer a wide range of grades suitable for application in numerous industrial sectors. Structural grades, for use in buildings, bridges, yellow goods, industrial machinery, wind turbines and general construction. Boiler & Pressure Vessel steel, Special Grades capable of quenching & tempering, as well as Shipbuilding plate.



Spartan UK is part of the Steel & Rolled Product Division of Metinvest Holding LLC, along with Trametal and Valsider of Italy. Together the three companies have more than 1 million tones of flat product capacity (quarto plates & coil) and are a major force in the European plate market.



We have made significant capital investment in the plant with constant upgrading of equipment and facilities. As part of a World Class global group and with a modern, highly efficient mill, we look to the future with confidence.
