SMPS Alaska

The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Alaska Chapter was founded in 2011 through a transition of the existing local and longstanding organization Architecture/Engineering Marketing Association of Alaska (AEMAA). The SMPS Alaska Chapter was established on September 1, 2011 following an overwhelming vote among AEMAA members to transition to a local chapter of SMPS. Today, the SMPS Alaska Chapter includes more than 50 individual members representing various A/E/C companies across the state. The purpose of SMPS Alaska Chapter is to “promote the professional and educational advancement of persons engaged in marketing professional services to the built and national environment.” To fulfill this purpose, the chapter offers a variety of educational and informational programs each month as well as regular networking events.
