FotoNation Limited continues to develop the high performance iris biometrics technology started by Smart Sensors, and has taken over its customer base while developing many new opportunities.
Recent announcements by FotoNation include a collaboration with Safran Identity and Security Systems to bring iris recognition technology to Smart Phones that will be launched to the Indian market during 2017, for use with the Aadhaar / UID programme.
